Staying Healthy Portfolio: How to Stay Positive, Keep Clean, and Be Informed about the Coronavirus

Staying Healthy Blog - Feature image

To showcase how our MyLife ePortfolio tool can be customized, we created a Staying Healthy portfolio with information on the importance of staying positive, keeping clean, and a list of useful resources related to COVID-19.

Designed to be used by anyone, the portfolio has been organized by category and subcategory. For example, in the COVID-19 Resources category, you can access media-rich content related to myths, travel, and disability/family/self-advocacy.

We’ve also included links to routines focused on staying clean, sneezing, handwashing, and cleanup; the routines use photos and video at the task level. Designed with supported individuals in mind, be sure to check out the lighthearted videos created by students currently participating in the Supported Living, Learning, & Earning with Autism (SLLEA) program.

If your child, student, or someone you support would benefit from taking the “distance out of social distance” MyLife can be used as a way to communicate and share their strengths, interests, accommodations, needs, and preferences.

Now more than ever, individuals with individualized education plans will need digital and remote support to help continue their educational experience in a way that works best for them and everyone on their team.

Please feel free to share this link with anyone who may benefit from the format and the content. We’re always happy to assist with training, support, and answer any questions you may have.
